Michelin-Starred Restaurants in Estonia 2025

  • 180° by Matthias Diether
Tallinn’s elegant 180° by Matthias Diether retains its Two MICHELIN Stars. With a panoramic sea view from its location in the revitalised Port Noblessner district, just a short stroll from Tallinn’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, the restaurant continues to impress with its precision, creativity, and service that flows like clockwork. Guests are captivated not only by the intricate, flavourful dishes but also by the restaurant’s visual artistry.
  • NOA Chef’s Hall
Also in Tallinn, NOA Chef’s Hall holds onto its One MICHELIN Star. Led by Chef-Owner Tõnis Siigur, this striking restaurant delights with boldly flavoured dishes, meticulously crafted with flair and detail. A romantic aperitif lounge overlooking Tallinn Bay sets the tone for a memorable evening of open-fire cooking, passionate service, and culinary finesse.

ECB Member Restaurants Recognised in the MICHELIN Guide 2025

We are proud to announce that five ECB member restaurants have once again secured their place in the prestigious MICHELIN Guide:

  • Fotografiska, Tallinn
Awarded a MICHELIN Green Star for the fourth year in a row, Fotografiska leads the way in sustainable gastronomy. Guided by its philosophy of “Sustainable Pleasure,” the team creatively repurposes every ingredient and embraces eco-conscious practices in both the kitchen and the wider museum experience.
  • ÂME, Tallinn
Located within Nunne Boutique Hotel at the edge of the Old Town, ÂME—meaning soul in French—combines historic charm with contemporary flair. Its globally inspired dishes have a French heart, served in an elegant space that bridges the old and new.
  • Horisont, Tallinn
Soaring above the city on the 30th floor of Swissôtel Tallinn, Horisont offers an imaginative fine dining journey. Under the direction of Head Chef Marko Sõmer and Head Sommelier Jüri Viital, its French-Asian inspired tasting menus and panoramic views create an unforgettable experience.
  • Wicca, Laulasmaa
Nestled in LaSpa hotel by the sea, Wicca brings nature to the table. With a menu rooted in local ingredients, seasonal produce, and traditional Estonian techniques, guests enjoy both comfort and surprise—complemented by a drinks list that celebrates small producers and house-made liqueurs.
  • Joyce, Tartu
Located in the V Spa & Conference Centre, Joyce has earned a MICHELIN recommendation for the fourth consecutive year. Fusing global influences with Baltic soul, the restaurant is celebrated for its bold flavours, creative presentation, and joyful approach to hospitality.

Michelin Bib Gourmand Restaurants

Named after the Michelin Man – whose official name is Bibendum – the Bib Gourmand distinction highlights restaurants which offer good quality food at a great price.

  • UMA in Tallinn comes from the same owners as Lore Bistroo – in fact, both restaurants are situated next to each other and you can walk between the two, as well as their cocktail bar, without ever needing to leave the building. Situated in a waterside warehouse, it comes with a superb terrace offering beautiful views over the marina, while inside there’s a lively buzz, particularly at the weekend. Its name stands for Unorthodox Modern Asian – and that’s exactly what you’ll find here. The great value menu mixes small and large plates – all designed for sharing – and keeps recognisable flavours to the fore.
  • Härg in Tallinn, a fun all-day brasserie where chargrilling is a speciality
  • Lore Bistroo in Tallinn, a modern harbourside bistro where dishes are inspired by the owner’s travels.
  • Mantel ja Korsten in Tallinn, set in a picture-postcard clapboard house and serving Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
  • NOA in Tallinn, boasting a seasonal, modern menu and water views.
  • Tuljak in Tallinn, with its retro look and creative dishes with a Baltic heart.
  • Fellin in Viljandi, a warm and welcoming café-cum-bistro serving homely European dishes.
