Cider tasting is a real treat at any time of year. There are several independent cider producers in Pärnu county catering for all kinds of groups and happy to tailor the event to you. Visit either Jaanihanso Cider House or Tori Cider Farm and learn all about how cider is made and try some of favourites from the shelves and cellars. On a visit, you can meet the cider makers, walk around the organic farms, taste limited-run styles, and learn all the nitty-gritty behind this operation that’s a true labor of love.

Jaanihanso Tasting Room was renovated in spring 2017 from an old Soviet era collective farm workshop. Equipped with modern comforts, the Ciderhouse Tasting Room can accommodate up to 150 people and invites guests to organize their parties, company strategy meetings, private concerts, cider tastings or any other events. There is a terrace, big lawn and romantic orchard for events outside. The guided visit to the cidery and cider tasting tour last about 1 hour and a half. Number of participants: 10 to 200.

Cider tour in Tori Cider and Wine Farm at the edge of Soomaa in Pärnu County

Fruit and berry wine has been made at the Tori Cider Farm since the beginning of time. The people currently living there are inspired by the experiences of their ancestors and value the fruits and berries that grow from the local Soomaa soil, which has a peculiar composition.
The old feral apple tree, which grows in the yard, is particularly special because we use its golden apples with an unusual taste to make the unique Tori Cider Farm cider. The visit also includes a tour of a genuine Nordic vineyard. The Cider tour around Tori Jõesuu Cider and Wine Farm on the edge of Soomaa has been awarded the EHE (Genuine and Interesting Estonia) quality label. The farm introduces guests to the secrets of good cider and wine making, the special features of the cultivation of northern grapes, as well as offers catering and organises tastings.
