Best off the beaten track conference locations in Estonia
The majority of conferences we organise are in the two major cities of Estonia, these being Tallinn and Tartu, but we also receive requests for more secluded Estonian conference locations. This may be so you have your conference delegates all together, without being distracted by the buzz of the city or to discuss sensitive items. Whatever the reasons, we’re happy to find Estonian venues which are off the beaten track and allow delegates to focus on the issues at hand.
North Estonia – Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa
From our experience, one of the best locations for this type of conference venue is in North Estonia, around a one hour drive from Tallinn airport and nestled alongside the Lahemaa National Park. The beautifully restored Vihula Manor sits in a village-like setting, surrounded by historical buildings with a rich cultural heritage. This picture-perfect manor house complex is an unforgettable destination for a conference, with modern conference facilities but in a more sequestered location.
Without the distraction of the bright lights of the city, your conference delegates can relax and take advantage of the swimming pool and spa facilities at Vihula Manor. You can also arrange cooking courses, biking tours and horseback riding within the stunning parkland grounds. If you did want a change of scenery, then why not take a trip to the nearby Käsmu Maritime Museum or Viinistu Art Museum.
Discover Pärnu
Whenever Estonians need a break, they head to Pärnu. For nearly two centuries this has been the nation´s premier resort town and spa getaway. It’s also a compact conference location in a green and peaceful seaside setting.
As a small beach town between Tallinn and Riga, on the West coast of Estonia, Pärnu is easy to reach. Its just 1.5 hours by road from Tallinn and 2 hours from Riga. It’s this handy location, coupled with its all-around charm, that makes Pärnu a perfect but more relaxed conference destination in Estonia. The city´s history as a group travel destination began in 1838 when its first heated seawater baths opened and ever since Pärnu has been making its mark as an international spa centre.
Conference delegates staying in Pärnu can take advantage of the city’s active arts scene. Each year Pärnu hosts a number of popular music, film and dance festivals, as well as countless concerts and exhibitions, yet Pärnu still has a small town feel.
Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa, Pärnu
The newest conference centre in Pärnu is the Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa and is the perfect off the beaten track conference venue. Ideal for meetings and events up to 480 persons, this resort hotel offers an inspiring and innovative environment.
