Conference Ambassadors explore Tartu through playful city adventures

The latest gathering of the Tartu Conference Ambassadors’ Club invited participants to experience the city from a fresh perspective – as both a historic university town and an inspiring international conference destination.

Some ambassadors stepped into the stories of Toomemägi during a guided tour of the University of Tartu Museum and its towers, while others discovered the city in a more playful way through the 360 KRAADI adventure games. The rain did not dampen the spirit of the day – the quickest and most curious teams covered more than four kilometres, exploring different corners of Tartu through tasks, stories and small surprises along the way.

Moving through the city in small groups created a lively and friendly atmosphere, offering plenty of opportunities to connect, exchange ideas and enjoy the experience together. The afternoon ended at the University of Tartu Museum, where participants shared the latest conference news and discussed Tartu’s potential as a conference city.

The ambassadors agreed that interactive city experiences like these are a wonderful way to introduce Tartu to international colleagues and guests. They bring together discovery, teamwork and a genuine sense of place – creating a memorable experience that presents the city in an engaging and authentic way.
