Tallinn Conference Ambassadors explore the Port of Tallinn
This time, the Tallinn Conference Ambassadors’ Club event took participants to the Port of Tallinn to discover the event opportunities offered by the Old City Harbour, Tallinn Cruise Terminal and the seaside restaurant Pier 4/2.
The visit offered an inspiring perspective on Tallinn as an international conference destination. Modern event spaces, sea views, excellent accessibility and the distinctive harbour atmosphere create a versatile setting for conferences, receptions and business events alike.
Standing right on the quay, participants had the chance to see the port’s smart solutions in action, including its innovative automatic mooring system, and to hear more about the ongoing development of the harbour area. The visit also highlighted the Port of Tallinn’s open approach to collaboration with event organisers. The Cruise Terminal has already proven itself as a venue for conferences and gala dinners, while the wider port area offers even more possibilities — both today and in the years ahead.
Another highlight of the visit was Pier 4/2, a new restaurant and event venue on the harbour’s scenic promenade. With its seaside location and flexible approach, Pier 4/2 is well suited for a variety of events and also offers opportunities for collaboration within the Cruise Terminal spaces.
The programme was further enriched by insights from WOW Events, one of Estonia’s leading event agencies, on how to create conferences that people truly want to attend, actively engage with and remember long after the event has ended.
The visit confirmed that the Port of Tallinn brings together location, atmosphere, modern facilities and a strong sense of place — making it an exciting option for memorable conferences and events by the sea.
