Tallinn Creative Hub receives international ecolabel Green Key

Tallinn Creative Hub received the internationally known ecolabel Green Key, which lets event planners know that the company’s activities are environmentally friendly.

Green Key is an internationally known ecolabel for tourism-oriented companies. It acknowledges businesses that follow the principles of environmental friendliness and sustainable growth in their everyday activities. The activities of Tallinn Creative Hub have been documented through an independent audit by Green Key’s international organiser, Foundation for Environmental Education.

Tallinn Creative Hub decided to reduce its ecological footprint, as environmentally friendly thinking has become important for the Tallinn Creative Hub management and employees. Creative Hub has continuously made an effort to reduce the negative impact of their activities on the environment – from recycling to the more economical and sustainable consumption of resources (electricity, water, inventory, food). The building’s automatics and energy efficiency are being updated and improved, older electrical lighting fixtures are gradually being exchanged for newer and more economical ones, water consumption is being reduced, ecolabel products are used and single-use utensils are avoided. Many event organisers have also adopted a green mindset and are holding environmentally friendly events.

Tallinn Creative Hub is a universal event centre, creative industry and conference centre in the heart of Tallinn whose multifunctional rooms offer a unique experience for event organisers and the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind event.

As part of Tallinn Greentech Week, a themed week of European Green Capital Tallinn, two highlight events will be taking place in and around Tallinn Creative Hub in November 2023: NEXPO Tallinn Green Technologies trade fair and Cleantech Forume Europe.
