JAIK – A New Event Venue in the Heart of Tallinn
The former VABA LAVA theatre in the Telliskivi Creative City has transitioned to new ownership and has been rebranded as JAIK. This versatile venue is equipped to accommodate a variety of events, including theater and dance performances, concerts, exhibitions, lectures, seminars, conferences, galas, and media events. Options for rental include individual halls or the entire facility, depending on the organizer’s requirements.
The venue boasts a large hall, spanning 435 square meters, with seating arrangements that can be modified to host up to 350 attendees, depending on the stage configuration. This includes a movable audience stand that can accommodate 250 people. Additionally, there is a smaller hall covering 195 square meters that offers flexible setup options for conferences, gala dinners, or exhibitions.
These two spaces are initially separated by a soundproof partition, yet they can be merged into a single expansive area of 630 square meters, suitable for events with up to 1000 standing guests, such as concerts or receptions. When combined and arranged in a theater-style setup, the halls can seat up to 700 people.
The complex also houses a 120 square meter rehearsal hall, which can serve as a workshop space or a backstage area during significant events, makeup rooms, dressing rooms for performers, and a welcoming cafe-foyer that is ideal for providing catering services.
