• Marzipan Painting at Maiasmokk Cafe. Did you know, that according to the legend, marzipan was invented in Tallinn? Up until 17th century the sweet almond paste was considered a medicine and sold by the Tallinn Town Hall Pharmacy –  also the oldest constantly operating pharmacy in Europe, first mentioned in written sources in 1422. This ounique Estonian experience showcases the art of marzipan decoration. Learn to d paint a marzipan figure with instructions from a professional artist, and keep your creation to savour later.
• Visit to Nunne Boutique Hotel. Nunne Boutique Hotel is a place where history meets luxurious comfort. In 2012, the facility opened as the most exciting maritime museum in Northern Europe. The indoor venue is available for rent for conference gala dinners, receptions and other special events.
• Walk in  Rotermann Quarter In Rotermann Quarter, in the heart of Tallinn, between the Old Town, the port, and Viru Square, old industrial buildings that have been given new functions stand next to modern architecture. What makes the Rotermann quarter such an atmospheric place is the old factories that have been skilfully and thoughtfully rejuvenated with ultra-modern architecture. The transition between old and new is almost seamless, in a way that we haven’t seen in many other cities. Optional Visit to  Kalev Chocolate Shop– Kalev is the biggest candy producer in the country, and the Kalev chocolate store in the Rotermann Quarter has a wide selection of chocolate goodness to bring back home (hint: white chocolate with blueberries! .

• Tallinn By Seaside Bike  Tour Explore Estonian culture and identity on a bike tour through parks and picturesque seaside. While the charming Old Town is a must-see in Tallinn, there’s so much more to discover. Ride beyond the touristy spots to the beautiful Kadriorg Park and stunning seaside promenade. Kadriorg, home to the Presidential Palace, is considered Tallinn’s most beautiful area. Highlights include Kadriorg Palace, built by Russian czar Peter the Great, and the modern Kumu Art Museum. Enjoy a leisurely ride through Kadriorg, down to Pirita’s sandy beach, and stop by the culturally significant Song Festival Grounds.

Terms of Attendance

• This fam trip is fully hosted by Visit Estonia / Enterprise Estonia,  including return flight tickets in economy class, accommodation, meals, transfers and the ground programme.
• Travel to and from the departure airport, travel insurance and extras are not included (mini bar, telephone calls, etc.)
• It is the participant’s own responsibility to arrange travel insurance that sufficiently covers the whole period of the fam trip.
• Please note that completion and submission of this qualification form do not automatically guarantee a place at our familiarisation trip. We will acknowledge your application, and shortly after confirm, if you have secured a place on the fam trip.
• In case we confirm your participation and you accept a place at the educational trip with completion of the confirmation form, you can expect a flight suggestion that suits your departure / arrival airport and the schedule of educational trip. After the flight ticket is purchased any cancellation will be charged at the full value of the flight ticket.
• Due to the limited number of places, only one representative of each company can participate in the fam trip. For the same reason, accompanying persons cannot be accepted.
