The Seaplane Harbour is one of Tallinn’s most spectacular and distinctive event venues. Housed in historic seaplane hangars on the city’s waterfront, this award-winning maritime museum offers an extraordinary setting for gala dinners, receptions, corporate events and special occasions in Tallinn.

The vast hangar can accommodate up to 1,500 guests for receptions and 800 guests for seated gala dinners, making the Seaplane Harbour one of the largest gala dinner venues in Tallinn.

Little additional decoration is needed to create an unforgettable atmosphere. Events take place right among the museum exhibits, with guests surrounded by the historic Lembit submarine, boats, yachts, sea mines and other authentic maritime treasures. The impressive open space also offers plenty of creative possibilities for event production, from live performances and aerial shows to spectacular digital projections across the hangars’ domed ceilings.

The architecture itself is part of the experience. Built in the early 20th century, the Seaplane Hangars are renowned for their pioneering thin-shell reinforced concrete domes and have received numerous architectural and heritage awards, including the Europa Nostra Grand Prix in 2013.

The experience continues outdoors, where the Seaplane Harbour features a working harbour, museum ships and sweeping views of the Tallinn waterfront. The historic steam-powered icebreaker Suur Tõll also offers unusual possibilities for smaller meetings, receptions and private events.
