ATHENA CONFERENCE AND CULTURE CENTRE

Conference and Culture Centre Athena is designed for a demanding visitor who values glamorous interior, quality and good service. The centre offers clients multifunctional rooms, unforgettable culture thrills, best possibilities for recreation, first-class services for conceptualizing and performing conferences.

Athena Centre is located in the historical heart of the university town Tartu, in a cinema building, which is an architectural heritage monument. The center’s unique interior is enriched with modern interpretation facilities, sound, light and video technology.

Centre Athena has 3 main halls. The biggest hall houses people – 178 on the floor (145,6m²) and 75 on the balcony (95,2m²). This hall is most suitable for conferences, seminars, for cinema, spectacles and concerts. As there is possibility to move the chairs, the hall can be made to banquet hall in only ten minutes. This is one of the oldest cinema halls in Estonia.

Theatre hall is located in the top floor of the building. This hall (198 m2) houses 150 visitors and it is built as black-box. This hall is best for smaller spectacles, concerts and at the moment the hall is also very popular for seminars and smaller conferences.

The smallest hall (64 m2 ) is called Private hall. This hall is most suitable for meetings up to 30 people. From the hall you can see the precious view to the Tartu University main building.
