Estonian Convention Bureau launches new website

The Estonian Convention Bureau proudly announces the launch of its brand new website, an easy-to-use tool that will serve international event organisers better than ever.

Created by the award-winning Velvet design agency, the site delivers both a fresh, improved look and vastly increased user-friendliness.

“With our new website we'd like to draw attention the fact that Estonia is so e-advanced and modern. Everything in Estonia is online and wireless, therefore we changed the design of the site to make it appropriately cutting-edge,” said the bureau's Managing Director Riine Tiigi.

Among the site's new features are a rolling column of updated news on the Estonian conference industry, a quick and easy online 'Request for proposal' form, and downloadable marketing materials.

The site's core content highlights Estonia's three main conference cities, Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu, lists details of specific conference and event venues, and provides ideas for incentive programmes.

The new site, which went live on April 20 can be found at www.ecb.ee.

Staff at the Estonian Convention Bureau are expecting the site to have an unprecedented level of traffic as relatively-affordable Estonia is quickly establishing itself as the conference destination for companies faced with the credit crunch. Event planners looking for new, low-cost destinations in Europe are finding Estonia a convenient, high-quality option.

The Estonian Convention Bureau is a non-profit organisation established jointly by public and private sector bodies. It was established in March 2008 in order to attract international conventions to Estonia. The 25 ECB members include the cities of Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu, the national carrier Estonian Air, and a number of DMCs, PCOs and hotels.
