The majestic, historical building of the Estonian National Opera is located in the very centre of Tallinn. Renovated in 2006, it now has six different halls, all with modern facilities. With our repertoire of opera, ballet and operetta, we are able to offer music programmes in addition to conference services.
The opera theatre hall has 708 seats: 423 on main level, 119 on first balcony and 166 on second balcony.The Estonian National Opera’s White Hall (200 m2) is an excellent places for festive receptions, formal occasions and dancing parties (up to 200 people). The hall is provided with removable chairs (for 100 people) and tables.
The Estonian National Opera’s Blue Hall (218,8 m2) is an excellent places for festive receptions, formal occasions and dancing parties (up to 200 people). The hall is provided with removable chairs (for 100 people) and tables.
The unique concert hall (Winter Garden) is built into inner court of the opera house. The 284 m2 hall, that seats 100 people, has a truly cozy atmosphere with its lush plants, interesting art exhibitions and glass roof. Winter Garden is an ideal place for presentations, press conferences, receptions, seminars and other festive occasions. The hall has removable chairs and tables, lighting and sound equipment.
Chamber Hall, the theatre’s newest hall is located on the 6th floor of the opera house. The hall’s area is 425 m2 with a balcony and also the wardrobe and the utility rooms. The hall, which resembles an overturned boat, is characterized by the concave ceilings, an open timber structure and small round-headed windows offering a nice view towards the port and the city. The presence of the utility rooms, the elevator and the decent sound insulation give a good opportunity to use the Chamber Hall not just as a rehearsal hall and a venue, but also to host conferences .
