Estonia To Step Up its ‘Wild’ Theme at IMEX

The ‘Go Wild, Choose Estonia’ concept will be more visible than ever at this year’s IMEX in Frankfurt as the country’s delegates boost their adventure-themed marketing efforts with new activities and offers. Launched at IBTM World last November, the slogan calls attention to the many adventure-related experiences available in the country as well as encourages event organisers to be daring and choose a fresh, up-and-coming destination.

Fittingly, the Estonia Stand (F265), run by the Estonian Convention Bureau and Visit Estonia, will be adding a vintage, Kihnu island-style motorbike to its pop-up forest décor. The presenters will also be launching a new brochure featuring 50 top experiences for groups, including conference programmes, incentive trips and in-meeting activities. Some of the wild ideas highlighted are motorised paintball in a former Soviet military base, jeep orienteering in a national park, dinner in a peat bog and rafting over an underwater prison.

Additionally, as a new offer for this year’s fair, visitors to the Estonia stand will be able to trade their RFP or event brief for a nature-inspired ‘creature of the night’ sleep mask.

The country’s representatives will once again be holding their popular ‘Win a Wild Trip to Estonia’ prize draw, which allows IMEX-goers to drop off a business card for a chance to win an Estonian mini-holiday.

IMEX participants are also invited to visit the stand for the Go Wild with Estonia Happy Hour, Tuesday, May 21st at 16:30, where Estonian beer, cider, snacks and rhubarb bubbles will be available.
